There are multiple green lights on your Ford Focus, and they can differ by trim and model year. It's hard to help people like you, you know that, right? But, let's try. In general, a green light, and sometimes blue, indicates that a feature has been enabled or working properly, for example, the high beams. Usually there'll be a symbol illuminated, which is going to convey more information than the color. For example, the symbol with the vertical line with horizontal smaller lines next to a circle looking thing is the fog lamp indicator. The wavy one that looks like a sailboat is your engine coolant temperature indicator; it's good when this is green, and bad if it's not. If you're really keen on learning all the symbols of your Ford Focus, see the owner's manual, which identifies them all.

A green light on a ford focus dashboard is used for informational purposes only. It contrasts with red and orange lights that indicate issues requiring service.
