The Lexus SC300 has a 3.0-liter SRX-cylinder rated at 225 hp and 210 lb-ft. Until 1997, buyers could spec it with A5-speed manual. Finding a manual Lexus SC300 isnt easy. Lexus built less than 4000 of them in that spec. This motor shares the same basic block and internals as the Mk4 Toyota Supras 2JZ. It lacks the twin turbochargers and piston-cooling oil squirters and has a different intake manifold than the Supra. The Lexus SC300 is often referred to as the Poor Man's Supra. Almost any aftermarket part that will bolt on to a Toyota Supra will also bolt onto an SC300.
