To get to the ignition control module for a 2000 Chevy Silverado You'll first want to pop up the hood of the vehicle by pressing the lever inside of it and then heading out and undoing the latch holding it down. Now look at Your engine and You're going to see the ignition coils on top of it all. Right next to the ignition coils is going to be the ignition control module. A replacement module will cost between $200 and $350 depending on where You shop.
