The 2003 Nissan Frontier idle air control valve is located in the engine. It is connected to the HVAC system and leads into the cab of the car. This system is designed to control the air that comes into the vehicle's engine, thus controlling the combustion and the amount of power the engine puts out. If the system is not working right then You will have very weak acceleration, and You will notice that the car shudders and stalls when idle. While You cant use it like this, You will very quickly run the risk of damaging Your engine, so You need to take it in and get it fixed as soon as You can. This will cost You about 300 dollars, so not the worst fix in the world.
