The headlight bulb size for the 2011 Ford F-150 is an H13 (9008); this is a dual beam model bulb (provides both high and low beams) and Ford uses a Halogen one from the factory. You're free to change this to an HID or LED if You want, as they'll be compatible. Note that a two pack of the halogens run around $55 at most car part places. Conversely, the same twin pack kit for LEDs is going to run You over twice that, at around $130. Is it worth the cost Halogens are cheap but also are notoriously fragile and have a short life span: That's probably why You're reading this, isn't it LEDs, on the other hand, are expensive but have a longer life span, are more energy efficient, and tend to be much brighter than halogens.
