The Chevy 3500 dually rear axle nut torque is 120 lb-ft. This part will need to be replaced eventually. You should change Your tires every 30,000 to 50,000 miles or so. You don't want to get into any wrecks on the road. Making sure Your tires are in the best condition is key to not crashing. You will come into problems with this part at some time or another. You could run into feathering issues. You could face cupping problems. Premature tire wear is something You could face. The part might become loose at some point. Make sure to inspect the tire pressure once a month. Check for holes, in case You run over something sharp.

120 pounds per foot seems to be the average for this vehicle, though it can change some based on upgrades.

Do you mean tighten to 120 ft lbs then back off to zero ft lb and then more to insert key and retainer clip ??? Or don’t you know what an AXLE BOLT IS ? I read it was 52 ft lbs and back of to zero !!! ??? But that was for a 2500 axle
