The Chevy Cruze turbo has an active recall for the 2013 and 2014 model years. This is caused by there being a defective front axle shaft that could fracture and cause a loss of power to the road. If Your vehicle is included in the recall You should check with the national highway traffic safety adMINIstration to see if Your VIN is included. You can also contact a local Chevrolet dealership with Your VIN and they can let You know if Yours is included. Chevrolet dealerships will replace the axle shaft for free on Your car if it is involved in the recall.

General motors issued a stop-sale and recall with the 1.4L turbocharged gasoline engines on the 2013 and 2014 chevrolet cruze on 28 march 2014. The recall of the chevy cruze is due to the possibly defective front axle shaft at right.
