The Ford Focus has DTC codes that are stored separately from the ECU and these codes will show up on the driver's information screen located in the gauge cluster. Ford has a list of DTC codes that can come up and what they mean. If You have a code E510 D900 then that means that there is a communications fault for the ignition, as well as a communication fault with the transmission. Usually this means that Your car will not start. This most commonly happens when the wiring to the ECU gets damaged and it does not get a signal from the transmission or the ignition system.

Turn your key on and off 4 times in 6 seconds then press any button on your key you will hear audible sound, e510 will be gone and your car will run properly again , what it is the immobiliser is not picking your key up so it thinks the car is being stolen, then it goes into limp mode.

You will need to look up the code in the manual or take it to the shop.
