What is the ford focus steering column cover removal procedure?

The Ford Focus steering column cover removal is somewhat tricky. You will need to first remove the cover on the steering wheel. On the side look for the seam where the two parts meet, then find the screws that hold it in place. Unscrew these, then pop the seem apart, the cover should come away. Now You will need to look to the bottom of the column, and You will see a series of bolts that are securing it. Remove these bolts and You will be able to slide it out of the slot. Don't pull yet though, as when You do You will have to remove some wires. If You yank it You will tear the wires. Once they are gone it should come free.
