As the driver of a Ford Transit with a 3.5 liter engine, You may be wondering how to change the oil in Your vehicle by Yourself. Luckily, it is fairly easy to do. First, You will need to lift Your vehicle using a jack. Please use all safety precautions when doing this, to prevent injury. Once, the Transit is lifted, You will need to locate the drain valve on the bottom of the oil reservoir. Loosen it by turning it to the left, and allow the old, d***y fluid to drain from the tank. Once this is done, You can lower Your vehicle. Finally, open the hood and remove the cap cover the reservoir. Pour fresh fluid into the reservoir until it reaches the max fill line.
