The Ford Transit fuel filter prime procedure requires purchasing a hand priming tool. Operate the hand pressure pump until the fuel filter is full and the tool becomes firm. Continue operating the special tool during cranking if necessary. Don't start the motor for more than 10secs at a time allow to cool for 30 secs between cranking.
