First, remove the cabin air filter and set it aside. Then, use a screwdriver to pop open the clamp. This should open access to the vehicles carburetor. Remove the fuel line, as well as all other lines that appear to be connected to the carburetor. Then, detach the links that are holding the throttle body down. This will reveal a set of nuts that are holding the carburetor and the inlet manifold together. You can begin removing the distributor and the upper radiator exhaust pump by loosening their screws. Finally, remove the screws securing the intake manifold to the engine. When doing so, make sure to safely store away all the screws, nuts and bolts that You dismantled to access the inlet manifold.
