The procedure for removing the RWD gearbox on a Ford Transit involves picking up Your phone and calling the shop. You'll expect to pay a couple grand for the labor and parts, and You'll be happy to, if You knew how much was otherwise involved. The answer to Your question would make a good book; I'm not going to type one for You. For an overview, though, You're going to need to disconnect Your battery (save Your radio code), jack Your vehicle up, drain Your transmission fluid, disconnect all hoses to the transmission, remove the starter motor, remove the belt housing, continue removing all cables and hoses, as well as all the electrical pigtails, then You can remove the torque converter, and then the cross member to frame mounting, and then the exhaust crossover pipe, and then the transmission bell housing and --- finally --- the transmission itself. I know You think You want to do this, and if You don't have to go anywhere in Your vehicle, and if it's nice in Your garage, and You like going out there to get away from a nagging spouse, and quaff Your adult beverages in peace, I get it. This one You really should leave to the pros, though.
