To remove the indicator side repeaters on a Ford Transit first You need to find them. They're on a small plastic springy clip on the back of the repeater. You will want to press it gently with Your finger while gently pushing it forward and out.But what exactly does the side repeaters do exactly. Well these side-facing devices make the vehicle's presence, position and direction of travel clearly visible from oblique angles. The lights are wired so as to illuminate whenever the vehicles' parking and taillamps are on, including when the headlamps are being used. A common indicator bulb will only cost about $10 to $30 to replace on average, but some specialty bulbs or high-end models might be considerably more to change.

To change the bulb on a transit side ( wing ) indicator , ....the type that sticks out on small tower , although it is hard to find there is a small plastic catch on the side facing the rear of the vehicle ( it is small and hard to find ) with a small screw driver , push the catch inwards , towards the wing , at the same time twist the lense section clockwise , and this will expose the bulb
