The transmission fluid needs to be replaced every 30,000 to 60,000 miles. Along with fluid changes, terrible sounds will come from the transmission. Old transmission fluid will be awful to the ear. A worn out torque converter will cause a headache.

To reset the cvtf light on a honda insight you will need to put the car in the on position and press select/reset until the screen says cvtf percentage, then you hold down select/reset until it all clears.
