The Toyota VCS warning system is designed to help You keep control of Your vehicle in less than ideal situations. If You turn it off, it lets You guide Your vehicle with zero restrictions if for some reason its, quite literally, stuck in a rut. If this is ever the case and You need to get going quickly, You would then engage VCS Off. To turn it off, find and push the VCS Off button by the shift knob, and then TRAC will go off. If Youve done it right, You should see TRAC OFF light up on Your display. To turn it back on, all You need to do is push the button again.

Vsc stands for stability control in vehicles. It is a program that helps to regulate your shocks during emergency maneuvers and brakes. When the computer detects some sort of problem it comes on. It also makes sense to check that engine light is coming on.
