The 2020 Toyota Tundra should receive a transmission fluid change every 30,000 miles. It is recommended to use Dexron III/Mercon ATF Automatic Transmission Fluid and there is a capacity of about 10 quarts.Transmission fluid, similar to oil, is a lubricant and its purpose is to make sure that the various working parts of the transmission are not subject to damage from heat. The cost of getting the transmission fluid changed on Your Tundra is between $60 and $70 for labor and $60 for parts. The signs that You need a transmission fluid change include a grinding noise coming from the transmission, problems shifting gears, slippage during gear shifts, sudden unexplained surges, and a delay in movement after You place the vehicle in gear.

The transmission fluid change interval on a toyota tundra is every 30,000 to 60,000 miles.
According with the Toyota Owners Manual and Maintenance Schedule my Tundra 2013 with engine 5.7 liters does not need a transmission oil change until 120,000 miles, if had been loaded with heavy loads or towing constantly. There is no indication at all in the manuals of maintenance for the necessity of replacing the transmission oil in normal driving.
