The AudiQ3 does not require premium fuel for the newer models of the vehicle starting at 2019. The previous models were required to use the premium gas 91 octane or higher. Now the AudiQ3 does require 87 octane now and should not use any other lower octane or bad quality fuel. Despite popular belief the higher the octane fuel does not have any real benefits for Your engine or vehicle. It has been said You will get better gas mileage or it can potentially keep Your fuel injectors and fuel pump cleaner but these statements have been found to be false. The only vehicles that do require higher octane are luxury or performance vehicles that have a turbo or engine that requires higher combustion rates.

An audi q3 will need to use regular unleaded gasoline. You can use a premium fuel to achieve higher performance.
