The 2010 HyundaiAccent uses AT6 which is the same as Dexron VI in the transmission. This fluid will provide the optimal protection for the gears and prevent excessive wear and damage to Your vehicle's transmission. In general You should check Your transmission fluid every time that You change Your oil. You will want to make sure that it is full and that it is free from debris. Usually debris will make Your fluid look reflective and metallic. That is a sign that there is excessive wear on one of the gears. If You do see that You will need to drain and flush Your transmission to clear it all out, and then refill it with fresh fluid.

The 2010 Hyundai Accent takes HYUNDAI GENUINE PARTS MTF 75W/85 (API GL-4) fluid for models with a manual transmission. And it takes HYUNDAI GENUINE ATF SP-III, DIAMOND ATF SP-III, SK ATF SP-III if it's paired with an automatic transmission.
