The 2016 Chevy Crue uses Dex-Cool engine coolant in the radiator. This is what comes standard in Your engine from the Chevrolet factory. If You have had a coolant change at some point You will want to make sure that it was with Dex-Cool before You add more. Mixing different types of coolant together can cause them to lose effectiveness and can cause corrosion in Your cooling system. If You are not sure what coolant You have then You should top off the coolant with distilled water since that will be easy on the system. Always make a point to check Your coolant levels each time You change Your oil to make sure that it is properly filled for the best performance.
