The most common reason that You will have a whining noise in Your 2014 Honda Accord is usually due to belt slip. The accessory drive belt in Your engine which drives Your alternator can slip from time to time. When this happens You will usually hear a whining or squealing noise. Another common reason that You could hear a whining noise could be one of the wheel bearings on the vehicle failing. As these fail they will whir and making whining noises since the metal bearings are rubbing against metal instead of the grease that is normally inside of them. There are other reasons Your car may whine as well but it is a good idea to let a mechanic test drive it to help diagnose it.

Check all fluids . Also, it may be the serpentine belt at times after dry rot begins to set in on the belt.
