The Volkswagen's P068A error code indicates a problem with the relay operation of the PCM or ECM of the vehicle. Specifically, the de-energizing of the relay is occurring prematurely. The PCM's power relay distributes battery voltage to the car's mechanical parts in a controlled sequence. It moves through a "de-energizing" process to avoid sudden spikes in voltage. The P068A code reveals the PR is malfunctioning and is considered a serious error. Under these conditions the VW may experience a no-start, or delayed firing and numerous drivability issues. The most common reasons the code is thrown include a defective Power Control Module PR; a blown fuse or fusible connection or a shorted circuit between the Power Control Module and the PR. Cost to replace a PR averages between $100-$150 in parts and labor.

The VW code 01674 means that the ECM/PCM has detected a defect in the de-energizing procedure for the relay which supplies it with voltage.

Even if you remove battery terminal too early., same fate as in mine case... To resolve.. Repeat it twice or thrice to revoke
