The 2002 Ford F-450 will have a gross combined towing capacity of 22,000 pounds. If You are going to tow a fifth wheel trailer with this truck the maximum weight will be 18,800 pounds. The tongue weight capacity is going to come in at 500 pounds for dead weight and if You have a weight distributing hitch the tongue weight capacity will be 1000 pounds. This truck is powerful enough that it should be able to handle just about any work You have for it and can haul very large amounts of materials. If it doesn't do the job for You then You also have the option of purchasing a F-550 or an F-650.
