The torque converter clutch solenoid on a 2005 Honda Accord is located to the left of the upper radiator hose mounter to the side of the engine. If You are having issues with the converter then You will notice a couple of things going wrong. The car will start to overheat for one. Not all at once, but it will creep up till it gets too hot. Secondly, You will notice that the gears will make a loud noise when shifting, and may grind and be slow to shift. The car may shudder when You are idle and in some cases, it will die altogether. Finally, You will notice that the transmission fluid has become corrupted with dirt and debris.
