The secondary air injection pump in a 2006 Toyota Sequoia can be found on the exhaust before the catalytic converter. You will be able to see the line from the pump leading into the exhaust piping. The secondary air injection pump is used to inject fresh air into the exhaust to help reduce the amount of pollution from Your exhaust. If this part is breaking You will usually notice a problem with Your O2 sensor. The O2 sensors usually will notice a problem with the oxygen being out of the normal range when the secondary air pump is not working.
