I'm guessing You've gotten a DTC of P0449 if You're looking for Your purge valve solenoid location on Your 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe. Good news: It's really pretty easy to get to, and is located near the back of Your track, in proximity to the evaporative canister and the fuel tank. To access it, You'll pull out Your spare tire, and You should see the valve. This part, by the way, usually runs around $35 at the dealer, so it's not a big deal. To get the valve off the cross member above the spare, You'll see that on top is a black metal bracket. The solenoid is held to this by plastic snaps. There'll be two hard plastic hoses coming off it. Disconnect those, and juSTSnap it out of place, to bring it to match the part or swap in a replacement.

It is located right next to the driver side fuel rail. It has a hard plastic hose connected to it, as well as a vapor return hose that goes to the intake manifold. It also has an electrical connector on it.
