For the 2008 Ford F-250, smart junction box is the power distribution fuse box which is located in the engine compartment in the upper right-hand corner. Of the 77 available fuses and relays, all but 13 of them are used to power various things in the car. All of the fuses in this compartment are either cartridge fuses or MINI fuses. Examples of components powered by these fuses include the power seats, ABS module pump, power fold mirrors, keep alive power for the powertrain control module, wiper motor and the mirror marker lamps. The relays include the starter solenoid, back-up lights, and the A/C clutch. Some of the slots are occupied by diodes that power the fuel pump, A/C clutch, and starter relay (specifically models with gasoline engines).
The 2008 ford f250 smart junction box is located under the dashboard on the driver's side footwell.
