The 2008 Subaru Impreza came factory standard with A4-speed automatic TZ1B8 transmission. There was also an option for a manual transmission. If You have the automatic You'll need to use Dexron VI but You'll have the option of using a multi vehicle transmission fluid that states it is compatible with dexron transmissions. The capacity is going to be 10 US quarts so You're looking at spending between $70 and $100 in fluid costs to fully fill it up. If You have the manual transmission You're going to need to use 75W-90 gear oil. Your capacity will be 7.4 pints.
