Your 2011 AudiQ5 is going to need a so-called "Violet" (purple) coolant, though I want to stress that color doesn't matter. This is branding, and also, so you don't accidentally let your critters drink the anti-freeze, which tastes yummy and is incredibly poisonous for them. What you actually need to care about is whether it's a HOAT coolant or not, which is Hybrid Organic Acid Technology. Without worrying about what all that means, just know that as long as it's that, you should be good. A great compatible product for the Q5 is PEAK Original Equipment Technology European Vehicles Violet Antifreeze and Coolant, part # PEVB53. This is a premixed 50/50 blend that runs about $20 a gallon that you can pick up from AutoZone and use with the peace of mind that it's not going to corrode your radiator or cause other problems.

The 2011 audi q5 uses only audi/vw g13 or g12 approved coolant.
