A 2012 Ford F-250 truck equipped with A6.2L V8 engine is going to need 5W-20 synthetic motor oil no matter what climate You are driving in. The oil capacity for this engine is going to be 7 US quarts when the filter is included. Given the capacity that means You're going to spend between $35 and $45 on oil costs if You plan to do the job on Your own or between $120 and $140 if You want to take it in to an oil change shop. The oil drain plug will have a head size of 16mm and You'll need to use 20 ft-lbs of torque to remove it.
