The 2014 Ford 6.7 liter F-350 uses a power steering pump to circulate lubricants in and around steering gears so the wheels with move with ease. To prevent damage to the pump and the steering hydraulics, fluid levels should be monitored. The F-350's pump is lubricated by Dexron ViATF. It is recommended by Ford and features the required viscosity. The PS reservoir is found on the driver's side of the engine bay. The tall cylindrical plastic container is marked by symbols identifying it on a black cap. If the F-350's PS fluid levels are low You will notice whining or high pitched noises when turning the wheel. Most manufacturers recommend flushing PS fluids every 75,000-100,000 miles.
