When You have a check engine light turn on in Your BMW You should use an OBD II scan tool on the car as soon as possible. Continuing to drive when You have a check engine light can damage the components in Your car and You will want to make sure that nothing is wrong. When You scan if You have an A3B3 fault that means that there is a problem with the active roll stabilization system. This means that the system that is in place to prevent Your car from rolling in the event of an accident has had a malfunction and is not working proplerly. I recommend letting a shop diagnose it further before You go on any winding drives.
