If You have an ESP fault code on Your AudiQ7 You will need to use a dealer level diagnostic tool to read the codes that are in the vehicle. ESP stands for electronic stability progRam and it is used to keep traction in Your SUV. The light should flash whenever the vehicle loses traction, but if it is on permanently then there is a fault somewhere in the system. If You do not have access to the proper tool to diagnose the problem You can always go around and check the ESP sensors at each wheel. If any of them are clearly loose or damaged that could be the source of the problem.

ESP faults with no start means that there could be a problem with the power supply to the ECU or a issue with the ABS / traction control system that shutting the engine down prematurely.
