BMW 535i is equipped with run-flat tires and does not come with a spare tire either in the trunk or under the vehicle. Run-flat tires are more expensive than the regular ones but allow You the freedom to continue driving Your car for considerable distances after You get a flat tire. The run-flats allow better handling of the car but offer a lower ride quality as compared to the normal ones, according to some owners. If You do like the run-flats then You won't mind paying a bit extra. Run-flat tires also need a tire pressure monitor gauge to monitor the pressure regularly. Because of their complex structure, it is difficult to determine whether the air pressure is low or not by simply looking at them.
