What's the BMW e46 ews module location?

The EWS module on Your BMW E46 is located under the steering column, over to the left hand side. First, loosen the black piece of plastic under Your steering column, and then unscrew the screws holding the dash panel to the left of it, and then You can remove the whole piece. Now, just above the pedals, You should see a white, square rectangular plastic box, that's held in place by two yellow 10mm bolts. That's the EWS. After removing the bolts, You can remove the wiring pigtail. You'll need to bring this part as well as a key to any place that is servicing this security component.
