The alarm siren on the BMW E60 is going to be located behind the passenger rear tire. At least, that's the theory. You didn't specify the year, but if this is an older vehicle, and You got it second hand Yeah, You're likely not going to have an alarm siren. So, typically, when You remove the bumper, You should see a large black plastic mounting bracket that also secures the wheel well liner. The siren is typically mounted on the inner side of the mounting bracket there, but You won't be able to see it until You remove that bracket from the car body. So, why might You not have it Because if the car alarm sets a hard fault, the siren never turns off, even after You reset the alarm. The only way to reset it, is to completely replace the module. As that's expensive, no one wants to mess with that, so people usually disconnect, or remove the siren entirely. And now You know!
