The BMW F10 is powered by a high pressure fuel pump. The FP's main fuse is housed in the cargo compartment's fuse box. This should be accessible under the carpeting on the right side of the trunk. The box' lid will contain a diagram and the FP is powered by plug #75. A plug puller is included in Your equipment to remove and replace this 20 amp fuse labeled "Fuel Pump Control". It is responsible for controlling the electrical power to the FP. Signs it needs replacing include a no start, stalling or a silent FP when the key is turned to the "on" position. If the plug has completely failed, a driver can crank, but not fire the engine because the pump is not switched on. If it is intermittently failing, the car may stall and then start later on.
