The FSC codes for Your BMW and its navigation system are costly. Translated to "Freischaltcode", a BMW FSC code consists of 20 characters defined by all-capital letters and a combination of numerical digits froM2 through 7. If You're wondering why there's no "1" or "0" included, it's because those numbers can be confused with "I's" and "O's". Every FSC password is vehicle and VIN specific and cannot be used for any other car. Updating Your BMW with new software to enable Apple CarPlay, or allow for relevant navigation and better maps, will require accessing one of these codes. Your local BMW dealership should be able to help with this, but be prepared to fork out several hundred dollars for the favor; anywhere from $250-$750. Alternatively, You can scour the internet for licensed BMW FSC merchants, many of which are located in the EU.
