Replacing the key fob battery in a 2017 Jeep Renegade should cost about $5 to $10 to do. This is a simple CR2032 coin cell battery and You should be able to find it at most grocery stores or drug stores around the country. Once You have a new battery You should pry apart the fob at the center to get to the old battery then You can remove it and install the new battery in the same orientation. When You do this You can then test the fob and make sure that it still locks and unlocks Your vehicle and then You are good to go until You need to replace it again in the future.
