The starter motor on a Dodge Charger is located on the driver's side of the engine and is below the row of cylinders. When Your Charger is having a hard time starting it usually is either a problem with the battery or the starter motor. If You do not hear any sound while You are trying to start Your car then that is usually a sign of a bad battery. If You hear a clicking or grinding noise then that is usually a problem with the starter. If Your starter is not working always check the wiring to it first to make sure they are good. You should also make sure the starter relay is working.
