If You are driving Your Dodge Ram with a Cummins motor and notice that there is a check engine light that has turned on You will want to use an OBD II scan tool to check the code. Simply connect the scan tool to the OBD II port that is located in the driver's footwell. If You rad the codes and get a P214i that means that there is a problem with the fuel injectors on group B. Specifically it means that there is an open circuit on the injectors which means that there is a problem with the supply voltage to the injectors. The voltage problem can lead to Your injectors not working properly which may lead to the engine stalling or at the very least running rough.

The Dodge Cummins code P2149 Fuel Injector Group B Circuit / Open Code becomes activated when an ECM senses an open or failure inside the supply voltage circuit of the fuel injector.
