Honda has moved the USB ports around slightly from model year to model year in the Honda CR-V, so depending on which year and trim You have is going to depend on where it is. In general, it's going to be in the alcove between the arm rests of the driver's seat (right arm) and the passenger's seat (left arm). You can use the USB port for charging: There are 2.5 amp ones specifically for device charging. The 1 amp ports can be used for playing Audio files on a USB flash drive, or for connecting a mobile phone, as well as loading system firmware upgrades from Honda to address ECU issues and fixes.
