Honda uses codes on the dash to let You know when maintenance is due. These codes start with either an A or B and then have one to three numbers that are after them to let You know what needs to be done. If Your Honda CR-V has a maintenance code A127 that means that You need to follow A and replace the engine oil. The 1 means You will need to rotate the tires and check the pressures. The 2 means You should replace the air filter for the engine and the cabin and check the drive belts. The 7 means that You will need to replace the brake fluid. This is a bit more involved than a standard oil change, but should be done to make sure Your SUV keeps working well.
