The Lexus GX470 has a coolant capacity of 6.8 quarts. It's going to use a so called "Red" antifreeze/Coolant to top off or do a refill with, which is ethylene glycol based and incompatible with borate and silicate based coolants.. Typical cost for a 32oz jug of Valvoline brand for thiS-TYPE will run around $20 at Walmart. If You're wondering how to drain Your radiator, look down on the bottom of the radiator on the driver's side: You should see a small yellow drain plug there which You simply turn counter-clockwise to losen and then pull out. You can hook up a piece of tubing to the drain tube there if You want to direct the coolant away from where Your Lexus IS parked.

Leland, is the 6.8 quart capacity the radiator alone, or does that include the block and the heating core? TY
