What's the Nissan matic d transmission fluid equivalent castrol type?

Nissan recommends that You use Nissan Matic D transmission fluid in many of their automatic transmissions. This was engineered by Nissan to give You superior protection for the gears in Your transmission. In the event that You are unable to find the OEM fluid then You can use a Castrol fluid. The fluid that You will be looking for is Castrol Transmax Import Multi-Vehicle automatic transmission fluid. This is pretty similar in composition to the fluid from Nissan and should be able to protect the gears in Your transmission. It is not quite the same though so it is best to use the Nissan option, but this is much easier to find at auto parts stores if You need to top off the transmission on the go.
