The type of brake fluid that is recommended for the 2018 Nissan Rogue is either DOT 3 or DOT 4 fluid. The reservoir for the fluid has a maxAnd min line on the side of it, it should never go below the min line or above the max line. The fluid helps to transfer force into pressure to be able to brake the vehicle. The fluid won't last forever and the maintenance schedule calls for it to be performed more frequently according to Maintenance under severe driving conditions. It is recommended to change it every 20,000 miles or so. The cost of the fluid is around $4 to $6 for a 12 ounce bottle depending on where You get it from.

The Nissan Rogue requires DOT 3 brake fluid in its brake assembly to operate smoothly and safely.
