If You have a check engine light that has turned on in Your Ford F-150 then I recommend using an OBD II scan tool to read the ECU to find out what the code is. A common code that You may encounter is P04DB. When You find this code it is usually a sign that there is a crankcase ventilation system is disconnected. Usually this is simply caused by a vacuum line that is disconnected or has a tear in it and is leaking. You will want to check out the lines and make sure that they are all connected and free from damage. If they are damaged then You should replace it with a new one.
