When You have a check engine light turn on in Your Jeep Grand Cherokee the first thing You should do is try to stop driving as soon as possible. Driving with a check engine light can cause damage to the engine or other components. When You have stopped You can use an OBD II scan tool to read the code that was stored in the ECU that caused the light to turn on in the first place. If You have a P06DD code that means that there is a problem with the oil pressure sensor. This could indicate a problem with the oil pump in the vehicle, or a problem with the sensor itself. The only way to diagnose it further is to check both of those components.

The p06dd code Jeep Grand Cherokee means low oil level, d***y engine oil, a faulty oil pressure sensor, an oil pressure sensor harness that is open or shorted, and the oil pressure sensor circuit has a faulty electrical component or connection
