Trouble Code P1148 in Nissan refers to defective Heated Oxygen Sensor 1 Bank 1. P1031 Trouble Code refers to Defective Air Fuel Ratio Sensor 1 Bank 1. When the same trouble codes (P1148 and P1031) are caused after the ECM reprogramming of your Nissan Quest, these components should be identified.
Once you start getting that upstream o2sensor code and lean fuel next code will be misfire You should Run a compression leak down test… or have a service shop do that b I’ve heard so much aboutecause you’ve actually got burnt or bent and sticking exaust valve and your engine will need major repairs… get rid of it !!! It’s unexplainably expensive and nearly impossible to repair these worthless Chinese junk heaps !!!!
