The blades will become old and worn out. The wiper motor can become broken. The delay module can stop working. These issues need to be fixated upon as soon as possible by fixing them Yourself or visiting a local auto shop. This part will eventually go bad. You will need to replace them every 6 to 12 months. If You don't, You will get smudges and terrible sounds when trying to use them.
